The Compass Rose Farms Conservation Easement is located in the valley south of the head of Discovery Bay., south and west of Hwy 101, east and north of W. Uncas Road, Jefferson County, Washington in the northeast portion of the Olympic Peninsula.

Jefferson Land Trust and Chumsortium partners have worked to protect important habitat in the Discovery Bay Estuary and in the riparian watersheds of both Salmon and Snow Creeks as they come through the valley from the foothills of the Olympics. In addition, the Land Trust has worked with partners in the Jefferson LandWorks Collaborative to help protect agricultural values. The Compass Rose Farms easement protects about 39 acres and was purchased with Salmon Recovery Funding Board grant funds.  The primary purpose of the easement is to protect the salmon habitat and agricultural values on the property.
