Protected Properties

The easement protects 6 acres of riparian habitat of east and west forks of Chimacum creek as salmon spawning habitat by preventing use or activity that would impair the conservation values. The conservation values of great importance are fish habitat, wildlife habitat, scenic quality, and educational and scientific opportunity.

Protect the riparian habitat of Chimacum creek headwaters as important salmon spawning habitat.

Plants and Wildlife

Mostly large conifers, cedar and spruce. The under story is predominately salmonberry. Mountain beaver, eagle, cougar, and coyote.
