The Yeakel Purdy easement protects mature forest along the east fork of Tarboo Creek downstream from the Upper Tarboo easement. Joan Purdy and Jim Yeakel donated the easement on 20 acres of their 100-acre property in 2006 as a demonstration of their support of the Tarboo Creek Watershed project.
