Century Stewards Program

Our Century Stewards Program is a way for community members to make major commitments to Jefferson Land Trust in a way that is comfortable for them, and predictable for the Land Trust.

Our work begins, of course, with protection of the land. But our work doesn't end there. Quite the contrary. Once a piece of land has been purchased or a conservation easement acquired, the job of stewardship begins. Stewarding the land encompasses: legal protection; invasive species control; monitoring for dumping, trespass, drug use, and abandoned vehicles; assessing overall wildlife and vegetation health; and land restoration FOREVER.

Join the over 200 other Century Stewards who have made commitments to Jefferson Land Trust with their pledge of a constant amount for each of the coming 3- or 5-year period.
